The Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum and the Princeton University Art Museum join to celebrate the legacy of spoken word as art, activism, and a tool for survival.See performances by acclaimed poets, local artists, and storytellers including performances by Princeton University student groups Ellipses Slam Poetry, Songline Slam, and ForWord Collective.Sign-ups for the open mic begin at 5:30 p.m; program begins at 6 p.m. This event is free and open to the public, no tickets or registration required.Presented in partnership with the Stoutsburg Sourland African American Museum.
