SAB Presents: A Conversation with Howardena Pindell

Friday, September 25, 2020 @ 5:30 pm

The Art Museum’s Student Advisory Board welcomes Howardena Pindell, a leader whose career broke ground for women and artists of color through both her own artwork and her work as a curator at the Museum of Modern Art. Pindell’s art addresses such social issues as war, genocide, sexism, and xenophobia. Pindell will be in conversation with Mitra Abbaspour, Haskell Curator of Modern and Contemporary Art, and SAB VP of Public Programs Rhys Drout ’22.

View works by Pindell in the Art Museum’s collection here and additional works here.
