Inspiration Workshop: The Self Identity Workshop would be an immersive experience for participants to think critically on the processes and choices made by Christina Fernandez, whose exhibit, Multiple Exposures, is currently on display at Art on Hulfish. The facilitator will take students on a brief tour of the exhibit and engage them to think critically on what they see in the artwork using the Visual Thinking Strategies pedagogy. The participants will be given a written questionnaire containing three questions that ask them to reflect upon their own identity. Using their responses with some of the key observations seen in the exhibit, participants will be asked to demonstrate those ideas within a collaborative portrait. Art supplies will be provided so that participants may incorporate materiality to their portraits and participants will receive their photos digitally.
